If you've been looking for something special for your school, birthday party or community event, you've found it! Rosalita's Puppets can provide not only marionette shows but workshops in puppetry, acting, improvisation, singing, movement, mask work and storytelling.

Why not try the popular storytelling and hand puppet program "AUNTY GOOSE" (see picture on the left). In this show Charlotte portrays Mother Goose's sister. As Aunty Goose she tells short stories using puppets,audience participation and activities.

Charlotte Anne Dore founded Rosalita"s Puppets over fifteen years ago. While completing her degree in Theater and Visual Art in Great Britain, she interned with Movingstage Marionette Company and Unicorn Theatre. Since then, she has presented a variety of children's and adults' puppet pieces at renaissance festivals, libraries, faires, birthday parties and theaters, all over New England and beyond. Just a sampling of venues include King Richard's Faire MA,First Night Boston, The ICA Boston, libraries in NJ, day care centers in New York City,The Puppet and Mask Theater in Syracusse New York, The Conneticut Rennaissance Faire, The Salem Pirate Faire and so much more.

Rosalita's puppets has been featured in the Boston Globe.

Rosalita's Puppets is a 2007 Rennaisance festival award winner coming second place nationally in "best children's entertainer" catergory!!!

Charlotte is a member of Puppeteers Of America, the Boston Puppetry Guild and the international puppetry association UNIMA. Not only does she perform and write all her shows she builds all the puppets and backdrops too. Occasionally she adapts puppets from existing objects and toys in her endeavor to re- use and recycle but that just adds to the charm of the handcrafted marionettes and other puppets

Charlotte is also a professional actress and a member of the actors' unions SAG and Equity.She has toured nationally with the Underground Railway Theater and worked locally at Urban Improv and on the Emmy award-winning WGBH teen show "Re-Action." She also works regularly as an actor for Comedy Theater Productions and the Science Museum.

Her improvisational skill allows Charlotte to present roving puppetry where marionettes can walk about an event or shopping mall and interact with passers by, provoking smiles and laughter.

In all her numerous endeavors, Charlotte always hopes to entertain and share the experience of being alive, the wonder and the joy.
